Lost a Kidney from Vascular Disease!
I am a 53 year old female who had one mild heart attack and a stient implant in my heart,7 years after that my blood presure started to run around 200/110 give or take 5-10
nothing would bring it down,I was sent to the cardioligist and a second stient was placed in my heart but my B/P remained the same
I kept telling my primary doctor I thought it was my kidneys, finally after 10 months of this my creatinin levers were tested and were very high and I was sent to a kidney dr,by that time I had completely lost the funtion of one kidney and the other one was 85% blocked in the artery,They put a stient in my remaining Kidney artery and my BP came down slowly. We are warned about heart disease but not much is said about vascular disease that can kill your kidneys and you!
I do not have kidney disease or Diabetes .If not for an elderly aunt that had the same problem I would be on dialyisis by now.More infor and comercials are needed to warn people of this deadly disease!
