i am a 32 yr old woman who just had her problem named.
Lymphocytic colitis.
i have been suffering from several symptoms for 16 yrs.
i know that this is a more mild form of IBD,but when you have a family and a full time job it is not mild.
i know that you have asked for comments from people with this problem, but i am not sure what to say beyond what i have.
i take asacol 3 tablets twice a day and while it keeps me from going up to 8 times in a 2 hr period, the cramping is getting worse.
i am lactose free and am having trouble digesting meals.
my family is so good about not trying to get me out of the house to early in the morning and about finding the restrooms in stores and the mall when we do go out.
if anyone reading this thinks they may have any form of IBD,push your doctors for the testing.
dont let 16 yrs go by with a doctor telling you that you need more fiber.
